
Janine recently played a teenager in the feature film ALL ME ALL THE TIME starring Keir Dullea (star of Kubrick's 2001: Space Odyssey), Sachi Parker (daughter of Shirley MacLaine), John Augestine (author and partner to Christopher Durang), and Mia Dillon (Tony nominated actress and star of "Crimes of the Heart"). Janine will begin rehearsels for Bernard Marie Koltes's world premiere translation into American English of HAMLET this October in Atlanta at 7 Stages.

Janine Barris most recently performed the role of Constanze in Amadeus at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. Her film, Nothing Sacred, where she plays the mysterious and sultry Angelica, starring Thierry Lhermitte and William Sadler is currently in production. Janine will be in LA from Oct-April '08.

Janine Barris just finished performing in "Manhattan Casanova" at Hudson Stage with rave reviews (see press for full article) and is currently filming "Nothing Sacred"; a psychological thriller starring french actor Thierry Lhermitte. Come catch her perform at The Public Theatre Sunday 1/7 at 3 pm in Suzan Lori Parks' 365 Days Project.
You can see Janine in a principal role in the new M. Knight Shamalyan Mini American Express "My Life My Card" film that first aired during the Academy Awards. Janine was also recently published in the anthology, "Plays and Playwrights 2006" for originating the role of Sarah in "Paradise". Now available in bookstores.
